Tank Cooks Steak Pizzaiola

Ingredients: 

  • 2 tbsps olive oil 
  • 2 boneless ribeye steaks 
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped 
  • Salt, black and red pepper to taste 
  • 1 can chopped peeled tomatoes (28 oz) 
  • 1 tsp oregano 
  • Grated Parmesan 

Directions 

  1. Heat olive oil in large skillet 
  2. Pat the steaks dry and season with salt and pepper 
  3. Add steaks to pan on medium heat. Cook until both sides are browned.
  4.  Once browned, remove steaks from pan and set aside 
  5. Add garlic to the pan and brown for a minute. Add in the tomatoes, oregano, salt, black and red pepper 
  6. Bring sauce to simmer and cook until thickened (20/25 mins) 
  7. Add steaks back into the sauce and turn to coat 
  8. Serve hot and top with a sprinkle of grated Parmesan
