Despite Losing By 27 Points, Angel Reese Outscored Caitlin Clark AND Dominated The Pregame Outfit Walk

Look it was a tough day for my hometown Chicago Sky. There's no way to sugar coat it. We moved the game to the United Center for our big rivalry matchup against the Indiana Fever, packed the house, and then shit the bed. Lost by 27 points and it wasn't really that close. And now the entire internet is piling on, with trolls citing everything from the $3 tickets to the fact the team appeared to put more preparation into their pregame chant than the actual gameplan:

God forbid anyone have fun anymore! I for one think that pregame entrance is right up there with the all-time greats like the T.C. Williams Titans with Sunshine was under center back in '71 or Virginia Tech running onto the field with Enter Sandman playing.

Anyways, everyone is pointing out the bad in the Sky's performance yesterday, so I wanted to take a quick moment on this beautiful Sunday morning here in the Windy City to showcase a couple bright spots:

1.) Angel Reese outscored Caitlin Clark

Now the haters will point out that Caitlin Clark didn't even play in the game, but my response to that weak argument is that the best ability is availability. Angel was ON THE COURT and scored 4 points. She should be praised for once again outshining your "goat".

2.) Angel Reese dominated the pregame outfit entrance

Look, my old high school coach taught us to control what we can control. Are you going to win every game? No. But can you win every pregame entrance with your fur hat in the middle of June? YES.

Shame on the WNBA for not putting a red carpet down for this!

So there you have it. The Sky might've lost "on the court", but it's not as bad as everyone on the internet is making it out to be. I don't care that Caitlin didn't play. I don't care that Sophie Cunningham didn't play. I don't care that Fever coach Stephanie White wasn't on the sidelines. Losing by 27 at the United Center was not that bad, Haters!
